Radical and Spiritual!

Spiritual and radical are two words feared in our society because they have bad and dangerous connotations. Understandably people are weary of them. We associate darkness with the word spiritual; and radical is obviously means radical in the negative sense. But what Christians are forgetting is that the Bible is full of radical and spiritual people. Look no further than Jesus. He broke out of the norms of society, He was very spiritual and very radical. He was forever talking about the two forces at work in the world which to us in this day are so obvious. Paul said that ‘Our battle is not against the forces of this world but against the rulers and authorities which are not seen’, we are in a spiritual battle. We see so much destruction in wars, terrorism, lies and deceit we cannot deny the existence of the enemy, and to pretend He doesn’t exist would leave us vulnerable. Unfortunately things like the occult are very serious and real, but most Christians feel too uncomfortable to bring up the subject of the enemy so chose to deny his existence. We cant deny the spiritual. Come on face facts, God is spiritual because He is supernatural, He is not like us.

Just some thoughts that I wrote a while back on my computer...
